Consumer goods giant Procter & Gamble has launched a new product under its Febreze brand with an eye towards consumers’ increasing savvy on sanitation.
P&G (NYSE: PG) on Tuesday announced the launch of Febreze Fabric Antimicrobial, a new formula of its fabric refresher and deodorizer brand that kills 99% of bacteria.
The product’s development was born of research that showed that while 73% of Americans sanitize hard surfaces like toilets and countertops, about 25% say they never sanitized soft surfaces in their homes.
